Johnson & Johnson will public vaccine study in the coming week
Following the publication the company plans to deliver up to 100m doses for the US market.

Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) will announce key clinical results from the vaccine against the coronavirus in the week beginning February 1, 2021. The company expects to make 100 million doses of the vaccine available to the US population if the results are promising and receive approval. The pharmaceutical business fueled the growth of Johnson & Johnson. Its other sectors are sluggish because of the impact of the coronavirus. The company posted better than expected results in the fourth quarter. Medical device sales fell as people postponed elective procedures due to the coronavirus pandemic, according to a communiqué from Johnson & Johnson. However, Consumer Health products contributed to Q4 growth, reaching $ 22.48 billion. Johnson & Johnson CEO and Chairman Alex Gorsky said he was optimistic the company will report positive results from clinical trials of the COVID-19 vaccine conducted on 45,000 people. In a conversation with the analysts, he referred to the positive results from an early and smaller study. The company hopes it will serve as a precursor to the same kind of safety and effectiveness in a larger population. The US FDA's emergency approval allows the company to improve the availability of the vaccine. Joseph Wolk, CFO, said the federal government could buy more vaccines after the first batch of 100 million. One of the great things about the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is that it can be stored in the refrigerator at a standard temperature. Other vaccines from companies such as BioNTech SE and Pfizer Inc and Moderna Inc must be frozen before use. Wolk said the company wants to be part of a group that can store vaccines at normal refrigerator temperatures.
