AliExpress is now running real stores in France and Spain
The Chinese online giant is now selling B2C in those two countries.

AliExpress, Alibaba's B2C e-commerce platform that enables Chinese individuals and small businesses to sell their products to overseas customers, opened its first pop-up store in France, displaying hundreds of goods directly to French customers, so the Xinhua News Agency on Sunday, September 27th. The pop-up store has a total area of nearly 2,600 square feet. It displayed more than 300 items of clothing, including household appliances, thereby attracting many local customers. In addition, the store also sold products via live streaming. Bastien Bato, general manager of AliExpress France region, said that "AliExpress has boosted its business in France and Spain," adding: "The opening of the pop-up store in France is a water test to get feedback from consumers to obtain". Some domestic French said they found live streaming a fresh and interesting way to sell goods. Zhang Qi, Director of Overseas Users and Marketing for AliExpress, said France is one of the major overseas markets for AliExpress and the company is looking to expand its logistics network and apply mobile payments in France to improve the user experience. In addition, the company plans to offer live streaming in the future and create a social community. Introduced in 2010, AliExpress products are sold in over 220 countries and regions.
