SolarWinds is desperately trying to fix its software

SolarWinds (NYSE: SWI), the IT management company at the center of Russia-related hacking by US authorities, has released additional fixes to supported and unsupported versions of its Orion Platform products. The company had previously announced that it would release hotfix updates for certain Orion Platform products on December 14th and 15th to prevent malware from exploiting the vulnerability for malicious activities. SolarWinds has now released updates for all Orion products and recommends that customers apply the fixes as soon as possible. SolarWinds stock falls 1.5% to $ 15.77. Previously, the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency posted a warning on its website that the cyberattack was still "affecting federal, state, and municipal corporate networks and critical infrastructures and other private sector organizations."
