JPMorgan's Katz joins Millennium
Ex-Global Commodities boss joins hedge funds

Jeff Katz, the former global head of natural resources at JPMorgan Chase & Co, has moved to hedge fund Millennium Management, people familiar with the matter said Friday.
He joined Millennium in August as Global Head of Commodities Risk, said one of the people who refused to be named because the information was not public.
Katz joined JPMorgan in 2005 and left the company this summer, according to his LinkedIn profile. He previously worked for Goldman Sachs Group Inc.
Kapil Bhatia, JPMorgan's Global Head of Energy Trading, will take on the role of Katz, while Akesh Amin, based in London, will take on the role of Kapil, some of the people report.
Millennium by Izzy Englander is a multi-strategy hedge fund with more than $ 57 billion under management, according to the company's website. Katz joins a team that includes at least four other people who manage the risk of assets like stocks and mortgage-backed securities, the company's website says. The fund also added money managers to its Singapore and Dubai offices this year.
JPMorgan did not respond immediately. Millennium and Katz declined to comment.
