Hitachi announces partnership with Swiss Re subsidiary
The two companies agree to develop new digital insurance products.
Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, a subsidiary of Swiss Re (OTCPK: SSREY), announced a partnership with Hitachi Europe to bring integrated insurance-based offerings for the digital age to the market. The partnership will help companies accelerate their digital transformation while minimizing risk and insuring against unexpected business interruptions. According to the company, with more than 200 years of combined risk knowledge and experience in IT and industrial engineering (OT), the two companies are well positioned to bring this unique offering to market, with the first organizations set to launch in October 2020.
