Yamana Gold is raising dividends
After listing in London two days ago, the company will also raise dividends by 50%.

Canadian mining company Yamana Gold said Thursday that it would increase its dividend by 50% to $ 0.105 as it raised its 2020 production forecast and that the proposed secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange would take place on October 13th. Yamana, which mines gold and silver in Argentina, Brazil, Canada and Chile, said it plans to produce 915,000 ounces of gold equivalent in 2020, 3% above its previous forecast of 890,000 ounces of gold equivalent. It is one of several Canadian gold miners planning secondary listings in London as skyrocketing Gold Prices draw generalist investors into the sector and seek to fill a void in the London market. The company said it has received approval to trade in the LSE and expects its shares to trade on October 13 at 0800 BST under the ticker "LSE: AUY". "We believe our London listing is timely and we look forward to continuing to introduce ourselves to members of this financial community," said Founder and Chief Executive Officer Peter Marrone.
