Sibanye-Stillwater agrees with Kroondal Worker Unions
The South African miner has signed a three year agreement with its employees at the platin project.

South African mining company Sibanye-Stillwater said Friday it had signed a three-year collective agreement with the unions at its platinum plant in Kroondal. Sibanye said the deal with the National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) and the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (AMCU) would increase a 5% or 1,000 rand ($ 61.65) per month, whichever is greater , for each year. Sibanye employs nearly 5,500 workers at its Kroondal plant, while the local platinum plant has approximately 47,500 employees.
