Intel expects a boom in chip production
The end of the pandemic should increase demand for computer chips.

Tech experts believe that the high demand for computer chips could continue even after the Covid-19 has subsided. Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) is quite impressed with the predictions made by the experts and hopes to continue to seize the opportunity. These projections come at a time when the company is focused on its multi-billion dollar recovery plan. Intel Chief Executive Pat Gelsinger acknowledges the changes that are sweeping across the company and outlines how digitalization has made its way across the board. Gelsinger says his company is ready and willing to fill the void for what it seeks to achieve by aligning efforts and resources in building the capacity it needs. The official agrees that the pandemic has accelerated the demand for the various digital tools but remains optimistic about the future. Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ: MSFT) CEO Satya Nadella has looked at the various changes and admits the world is moving into a new era. The official uttered these words in Intel's strategy rollout via video, claiming that computing has become the main thing in the world. Mr. Nadella looks forward to a future in which spending on technology will increase from the current 5% of gross domestic product to around 10% over the next ten years. The market research company IC Insights announced that the semiconductor industry has been increasing its capital expenditures for some time. It outlines that the phenomenon lasted even before Intel's most recent move. Global industry hoped to pour about $ 129.4 billion into building new factories and purchasing new equipment. The increase in expenditure was around a margin of 14% compared to the previous year. Intel has remained at the forefront over the years as America's chip manufacturing icon. The company leader has grown in popularity significantly due to its focus on developing advanced chips. However, the company's business dynamism has stumbled in recent years. It's a scenario where the company fell short of competitors who focus on chip design and manufacturing. Over the years, NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) has remained the main competitor in the manufacture of graphics chips. Nvidia Corp beat Intel last year, which was surprising considering the company is outsourcing its chips.
