Grow Generation takes over Big Green Tomato
The mini chain from Michigan changes hands for little money.
GrowGeneration (GRWG + 1.1%) announces the acquisition of Big Green Tomato ("BGT"), a chain with two stores in Battle Creek and Taylor, Michigan. BGT has two well-established locations with strong commercial activity and annual sales of approximately $ 16 million. As part of the transaction, GrowGen acquired the 10,000 square foot retail property in Battle Creek. With this acquisition, the Michigan market is expected to generate annual sales of well over $ 40 million for GrowGen.
