As the year draws to a close, many would like to know which cryptocurrencies did well in 2021. According to CoinGecko, the six best cryptocurrencies for this year are Shiba Inu, Axie Infinity, Terra, Solana, Polygon and Dogecoin.

CoinGecko's records show that Shiba Inu saw an increase of 77,909,077.8% over the past year. Axie Infinity had an annual increase of 45859.4% while Terra recorded 15491.9%.

Similarly, Solana saw an increase of 11,879.1% over the year, while Polygon and Dogecoin saw an increase of 10,742.4% and 9,155.6%, respectively.

The numbers don't lie, they say. Even the entire crypto market is showing significant growth as it now approaches $ 3 trillion.

Nonetheless, as analysts say, it only shows that cryptocurrencies are here to stay. They will continue to change our current market sector and be part of our lives.
