Starbucks takes further step towards Asia
Starbucks coffee is now also available in Laos.
Starbucks (Nasdaq: SBUX) plans to open its first Laos store in the capital, Vientiane, by summer 2021. Laos will be the 17th Asian market in which the company operates. "We are excited to bring the Starbucks experience to Laos, which has a rich coffee-making history and thriving coffee culture," said Michael Conway, general manager of Starbucks.
