Silver Explorer Bunker Hill Mining prepares for Phase 2

2020 may have been a rocky start operationally for a number of mineral exploration companies, but as the economy works to re-emerge from the shadow of the coronavirus pandemic, COVID-19, business is in full swing for many operators. This is especially true for Bunker Hill Mining Corp. (CSE: BNKR, OTC: BHLL, Forum), with a drilling and sampling click to enlarge the program in the books, BNKR is working on evaluating the silver potential of its main asset, equipped with a new business focus and supported by additional funding, is with this A lot happens to companies to attract investors. BNKR recently completed a drilling and sampling program in support of the proposed exploration of its Bunker Hill mine, which included 2,680 meters (8,797 feet) of core drilling, mainly underground, and the collection of 755 channel samples. The samples are currently being analyzed in the laboratory and the company expects to release the results of its results sometime in August 2020. This is expected to fall in conjunction with the analysis of historical mining data, including previous untested silver exploration opportunities that will form the basis of an ongoing plan to explore the silver potential of the Bunker Hill Mine. The mine had previously operated as a lead metal mine for 95 years and ended in 1981 with a total of 162 million ounces of silver produced as a by-product. The company is also going "digital" with its Bunker Hill mine. As a complement to its drilling and sampling program, it also digitizes all of its mine’s historical data into a full 3D format, creating the first digital geological model in the history of the mine. These are exciting prospects for the company and its Chief Executive Officer, Sam Ash, stated in a press release to investors that he moved to Northern Idaho in April 2020 to focus on accelerating these preliminary exploration activities. "As our understanding of the property increased during the initial phase of data digitization and drilling, this suggests that Bunker Hill has a strong mineral endowment. A detailed analysis of the sources of historical production of 162 million ounces of silver as a by-product of the lead and zinc production, as well as the open nature of many of the existing and partially mined mineral deposits, particularly at depth, indicate that we may be on a very promising silver exploration target in the United States. We plan to focus our exploration efforts on identifying the deposit and test for silver and anticipate the discovery of significant silver mineralization within reach of existing infrastructure ".
