Petrobras is once again at the focus of Brazilian Police
Allegations against the oil giants are centered around bribes and corruption money.

The Brazilian federal police today executed seven search and seizure warrants to expand the corruption investigation during the Lava Jato operation to include alleged kickbacks in international gasoline and jet fuel contracts at Petrobras (PKR + 2.5%). Prosecutors say the Car Wash Task Force found evidence of bribes worth 12 million euros in travel expenses to Petrobras employees in 61 international trade stores that were closed through company offices in Houston, London and Singapore in 2005-15. The allegedly illegal operations in which Petrobras employees were bribed to favor a specific buyer reportedly involved 3.3 billion liters of fuel.
