Lundin signs agreement with Chilean mining union
Production at the Candelaria Mine can finally be resumed.

Lundin Mining (OTCPK: LUNMF) claims to have signed a collective agreement with a union that represents around 350 striking workers after a month-long work stoppage at the Candelaria copper mine in Chile. The two sides signed a new 35-month collective agreement to end the strike, marking the agreements with all five unions in Candelaria as part of the collective bargaining cycle. Lundin says the ramp-up of Candelaria, which produced 111.4,000 tonnes of copper in 2019, is underway to full capacity and plans to provide guidance for fiscal 2020 for next week as part of the annual outlook update next week to reintroduce operations.
