Intel addresses the current semiconductor shortage
According to the company, the current problem might only be solved by 2023.

The current global shortage of chips could pose challenges to the production of electric vehicles for a longer period of time. The matter could be resolved in 2023. However, Intel Corporation (NASDAQ: INTC) is optimistic. The semiconductor manufacturer is of the opinion that it is rather unfortunate that the supply bottlenecks for microchips could negatively affect the revolution in electric vehicles (E.V.). Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger said, "Although the industry has taken steps to remove short-term bottlenecks, it could be a few more years for the ecosystem to remove bottlenecks in foundry capacity, substrates and components." The officer spoke virtually at the Computex exhibition in Taipei. The official believes the outbreak of the deadly Covid-19 pandemic has a lot to do with the scarcity. The scourge hindered both the production of E.V.s and co0nevbtionalen vehicles, the director said. Back in March, the company spoke about its new investment plan to build two new factories in Arizona to boost operations and increase production.
