Yeah, it's been a while since we last spoke. It's pretty slow around here but now that I've got a 3 yr. old and a 6 month old, this is a good pace for me. I couldn't keep up with some of the good threads on SI and I got sick of the bickering and personal attacks.
I was down about 70% in 2008 but I recovered it all back and then some last year. This despite a couple of really bad trades including HNU. I should just avoid it but the wild swings keep me interested. 
I don't play junior mining stocks much anymore but I broke my rules a few weeks ago and chased good ole PFN at the high 0.245. I'm still holding the piece of crap and I accept that it will be a loss...just waiting for high teens. Ironically, my best performer was a penny stock (SYZ) but I held that for over 3 years. It's recently hit a new high but I'm all out.
Anyway, yeah...still in Vancouver with a hefty mortgage and a couple of more mouths to feed so I think I've been more cautious with trades. I keep posting here hoping I (and others) can learn from mistakes. The only thing is I seem to keep making the same mistakes so am I really learning? 
I have to admit I was indifferent about the Olympics coming to Vancouver until it began. I couldn't help but feel and want to be part of all the buzz in the city. Big hangover now and a lot of people are starting to get depressed. LOL. I guess the Paralymic Games can fill the void a bit in a few days from now.
